The sun came out for our annual sports day this year. We all went to Walsh Park for the day. We ran, we raced, we jumped, we played and everybody had a great time. There were hot dogs and ice cream in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland. We had a very special guest, Hurler of the Year, Austin Gleeson, who came and signed loads of autographs. He also went on goal to face shots from some of the children.
We all went home, tired from all the running around in the sun and delighted with how the day went. Many thanks to all the parents, guardians and friends who helped make the day a roaring success. A special mention goes to Paul Nolan, who took these photos.
