Over 35 children from 1st to 6th class recently represented our school at the ‘Waterford Athletics Competition’. It was a great day and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We had some great success with lots of children winning both individual and relay medals.
Our girls u10 relay team Pola, Amna, Caoimhe and Emilia won a silver medal.
Our boys u10 relay team Rudi, Zak, Fortune and Finlay also won a silver medal.
Finlay in 3rd class won a bronze medal in the boy’s u10 300m.
Zak in 4th class returned with 3 medals including gold in the boy’s u10 300m and bronze in the 80m. Zak went on to represent his school in the county finals where he won another bronze medal.
Well done to all our athletes who represented their school brilliantly on the day!
