Growing Green — Biodiversity Projects at WETNS

Pupils at Waterford ETNS are taking part in biodiversity and environmental projects as part of our ongoing Green Schools initiative.

Waterford ETNS is proud to nurture not just academic learners, but environmentally-aware citizens. This year, our Biodiversity campaign has seen classes engage in outdoor planting, wildlife habitats, recycling challenges and “green” class assemblies.

Thanks to our dedicated Parent Association and eco-committee, the school garden has become a living classroom where pupils learn about habitats, sustainability and caring for our environment.

Green Schools initiatives help children understand the impact of their actions — and at WETNS we are excited to continue growing this area of learning, exploring new eco projects and making our school grounds even greener.
Well done to all involved — keep planting, keep exploring, keep caring!
