We had a fantastic week in WETNS as the travelling Book Fair came to our school. All children visited the fair and loads of us bought books. There were books of all types and for all ages. Each child received a €1.50 book token and 60% of the price of every book sold went to our school to enable us to buy books for our library. A big thank you to Marion who organised the whole thing.
The week culminated with World Book Day on Thursday, when lots of children dressed up as characters from their favourite books. The school was awash with colourful characters as can be seen from the photos. Well done to everyone who dressed up.
