On Monday 13th of June, Republic of Ireland kicked off their Euro 2016 campaign with an excellent performance to earn a 1-1 draw versus Sweden. At WETNS we took part in an FAI initiative whereby the pupils in our school wore green to support our football team. Our school was a sea of green on the day.
