INTERCULTURAL WEEK NOVEMBER 10th – 14th
All the classes enjoyed a variety of activities as part of our Intercultural Week. We had some lovely art workshops where we learned about different types of art from around the world.
On Wednesday we had a big school fair. Parents from different countries and cultures shared their food, music, dance and traditions with us. RTE came and filmed us for News2.
On Thursday we learned about the different languages in our community. Parents visited the classes to share their languages and stories with us.
Friday was the last day of our Intercultural Week. We had a lovely school assembly where each class performed songs and poems for each other. Seán, Valeria and their mum, Yulia performed a beautiful Russian dance for us.
We all enjoyed our Intercultural Week and we learned a lot about the different culture within our school community. Huge thanks to all the parents who helped out and put in a great effort, making Intercultural Week successful, interesting, exciting and fun.
